Sean worked as a TV Production Intern for the award-winning news magazine “Chicago Tonight” at WTTW/PBS Channel 11 from August 2013 – December 2013. Responsibilities included researching stories, greeting guests, transcribing reporters’ interviews, filing show information, distributing rundowns, running scripts and pitching story ideas for segments and news updates.

"Karen and Sandy" - 2013 BEA Audio Award for Best Audio Comedy or Drama

Winning the 2013 BEA Award for Best Audio Comedy or Drama in Las Vegas, NV, “Karen and Sandy” attempts to capture the drama of Karen's Superstorm Sandy experience in New Jersey, beginning with losing power and Karen’s efforts to help her upstairs neighbors, who had their van crushed by a fallen tree and apartment badly flooded after the vinyl roofing blew off of the building.

After the storm, Karen was united with her neighbors and speaks of the positive bonding of her community working together to help one another.

Audio Documentary of CTA Musician Larry Joseph Drake

An audio Documentary recorded at the Jackson Red Line station in Chicago. Larry talks about the process of obtaining a permit to play for the CTA, his passion for music, his love for his mother and about feeling the blues.

Live performances of Larry's singing and guitar playing accompany his story. A Zoom recorder and various microphones were used to capture the performances and interviews.
